Robert K. Parson is a seasoned workforce and economic development professional with over 25 years of experience driving employment opportunities, community growth, and sustainable economic impact across Miami-Dade County. He currently serves as the Assistant Director of Programs at CareerSource South Florida, providing strategic oversight for key workforce initiatives, ensuring regulatory compliance, and fostering partnerships with employers, educators, and community stakeholders.

Throughout his career, Mr. Parson has held multiple leadership roles within Miami-Dade County, including Economic Development Manager with the Miami-Dade Economic Advocacy Trust, Contract Compliance Officer II with Small Business Development, and Business Development Specialist II at the Miami-Dade Aviation Department. Beginning his career with the Greater Miami Service Corps, he spent over two decades helping young adults build skills and career pathways through education, training, and service initiatives. Mr. Parson holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Management from Morris Brown College and certifications in Workforce Development (Tier 1) and Miami-Dade County Supervisor Training.
